This fall, students and staff at Helen E. Taylor School in Wembley will be joined by Mrs. Allicia MacAlister as their new Assistant Principal.
Mrs. MacAlister has been with Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) since she graduated with her Bachelor of Education from Grande Prairie Regional College in 2011. She has taught at Hythe Regional School for the past 11 years and says she will miss everyone. “This has truly been bittersweet for me, but I am looking forward to working in the community I live in. I am excited for the opportunity to work with a new group of adults and students, and build connections throughout the community.”
Mrs. MacAlister is eager to take on her first designated leadership role, while continuing to learn and grow within PWPSD.
